In 2021, I ditched my organics bin service, started worm composting and bokashi composting and never looked back. In 2023, I graduated from the county’s Composter/Recycler program, and by 2024, I was teaching bokashi composting classes and demonstrations as a volunteer in the community. In 2025, I started my own small business to continue to do the work that I loved doing occasionally as a volunteer but now as my full-time mission. I've had the joy of hosting bokashi composting outreach and education to several hundred people now.

I know firsthand how hard it can be to find a composting method that works when you don't have a lot of yard waste, you’re short on space, have nearby neighbors, nit-picky associations, and want to avoid pests, piles, or messiness. That’s why I focus on teaching clear, simple ways to succeed with bokashi composting, so anyone can compost confidently - even in small spaces - and handle foods that most composting methods can’t, like cooked leftovers, meat, and dairy.

Before my bokashi composting adventures, I spent 20+ years in technical writing and product support where the focus was always on more than just the "how to." The "why", "when", "where" and real-life use cases were equally as important. These are skills I now use to create detailed-oriented composting workshops, classes, and resources that go beyond the basic how to's.

My mission is simple. Make composting possible, practical, and enjoyable for everyone!
