Bokashi Composting Demonstration

78th St Heritage Farm. Vancouver, WA

Come join me for an in person bokashi composting demonstration, sponsored by Clark County Composter Recycler Program!

This demonstration is a follow up for attendees of past trainings. I'll show you how to start a bokashi bin and how to add food scraps to it. I'll also show you how to process a fermented bin by using the soil factory method.

Feel free to bring any food scraps from home and some gloves to help build a soil factory. It's a great opportunity to meet in person to get hands on training and to have conversations!

Clark County Composter Recycler Program is training the 2025 class of Master Composters/Recyclers. This is a private training held for volunteers that are accepted into the program. I'm honored and excited to present the bokashi composting course!

Bokashi Composting Demonstration

Good Year Farms. Washougal, WA.

Good Year Farms Nursery and Barn in Washougal is hosting a Homegrown Holiday Market on small business saturday. There will be several local small businesses for your holiday shopping including pottery, willow art, coffee, cut flowers, seeds, crafts and art. I'll be there for in person bokashi composting demonstrations and promoting education on this super easy form of composting. Feel free to bring some food waste to use as part of the demonstration!
